Best Seafood Restaurant in Newcastle - Review by Logan S

The restaurant is beautiful, blues, greys and white tones with an open fire, it looks welcoming and warm.

Our party of 6 dined family style so we all got to share 6 starters and 6 mains. The staff were presented immaculately and were very good at guiding us. We had, Sashimi with Japanese soy and wasabi aioli, (fresh with punchy flavours)
Steamed Lobster Noodles, (incredible depth of flavour)
Soda Battered Loligo Squid, (very crispy and tasty)
Scallops with parsnip puree, (so simple but complex, delicious)
Pan Seared King Prawns with butternut pumpkin & goats cheese tortellini’s,
Soda battered Oysters with avocado (crunchy batter with spicy cream avocado)
All starters were fantastic, beautifully presented and so fresh.

For mains we shared, the Lure Seafood plate, (mixture of deep fried and fresh all fantastic) Stuffed portobello mushroom and beer battered roast parsnips, Confit duck maryland and a selection of grilled and crumbed and battered fresh fish. Every dish beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked.

Hand cut chips with chipotle salt and aioli
Beer battered potato scallops with malt vinegar and Rosemary Sea Salt (my absolute favourite)
Garlic and green onion mash (so rich and creamy)
Rocket and parmesan salad
Green salad with white balsamic dressing
Celeriac remoulade

For dessert we shared....
Chocolate dome, chocolate brownie, caramel popcorn gelato, hot salted caramel sauce (OMG, this is a must try for every diner)
Pacific Pearl
and a beautiful cheese plate

Overall this restaurant is beautifully appointed, staff are very friendly and obliging and most importantly the dishes are plated delightfully and you taste the freshnes
